How do polynucleotide treatments work?
Polynucleotides, derived from salmon DNA, are injected in small amounts across multiple areas and depths. Polynucleotides stimulate the skin in multiple ways helping to stimulate collagen and elastin, lift pigmentation, protect cells from damage and increase hydration.

What’s involved in the treatment?

During your consultation Dr Amy will establish your skin and medical history and discuss which areas you would like to see improvements in. Amy will then analyse your skin and the dynamic movement of your face to establish how she can help you to achieve your goals. She’ll then provide you with treatment options for you to go away and think about, and answer any questions you may have. |
| Treatment: |
The treatment area will be numbed using topical anaesthetic, this takes 30 minutes. Dr Amy will then administer small injections in the relevant areas and potentially at different depths. You may experience slight discomfort during the treatment. In total your treatment will take between 45-60 minutes. |
| Recovery: |
You will receive aftercare guidance at the appointment, but after the treatment you may experience mild bruising, swelling and small bumps at the injection sites. This will all subside in the week following your treatment. |
